How we collect, use and protect your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how Titan Blinds & Flooring looks after your personal information when you visit our website, create an account, place an order, contact us or subscribe to our emails. We do not knowingly collect "special category" data (such as health or religious information). Please do not include it in free-text fields such as order notes or messages.

We will only send you marketing emails if you have subscribed (for example, through the box in our website footer) and given us your consent. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out at any time by emailing us. We will never sell your email address or share it with other companies for their own marketing.

Third-party website resources

To display our website we load some resources from third parties, including Google Fonts, Font Awesome and other content delivery networks (such as Cloudflare's cdnjs and jsDelivr), Stripe's payment scripts at checkout, and Google Maps on our contact page. When your browser loads these, the provider receives your IP address and basic device information. Please see their own privacy policies for details.

Some of our service providers (for example Stripe and Google) may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we make sure the transfer is protected by an appropriate safeguard, such as a UK adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. These include storing passwords only in encrypted (hashed) form, restricting access to personal data to staff who need it, and using Stripe to process card payments so that your card details never reach our systems. No online service can be completely secure, so please keep your password confidential and let us know straight away if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

Our website and services are not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our website may link to other websites, including Google Maps and social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, please tell us by emailing complaints@titanblinds.co.uk. We will look into it and reply as quickly as we can.
